    A necessity

    Wow what a difference this kit makes. My blower was running for about 30 seconds then would shut off. Allowed to be restarted run for 30 seconds then shut off again....and so on. Valves were well out of adjustment. Used the feeler guage and made the adjustment then installed gasket and it runs better than I ever remember it running. Very responsive and crisp. Like a brand new unit again. I highly recommend this kit.

    Correct tool for BR600

    There are two (maybe more) Stihl valve clearance tools for different engine models. This ebay seller identified the correct blower models. Mine is a BR600. When adjusting the valves, the area where you insert the feeler gauge is very small. Too small for my standard feeler gauges. This tool made the job easy.

    Stihl valve lash kit

    All you need to lash the valves and replace cover gasket except an 8mm socket wrench to adjust the locknuts (use your Stihl Torx screwdriver to remove valve cover bolt and fan housing). Easy to use and lashing valves to spec made a noticable difference in performance. From my experience, if you have used your blower for awhile (over 100 hrs), lashing the valves will restore the blower to like-new capacity.

    Worked perfect

    Was able to set the valve clearance on my Stihl Br600 blower and Stihl FS130R line trimmer. Now they both start on the first pull again and operate like new!!! Thanks
