    1/24 Hachette Japanese series - '66 Corolla & '77 Cervo

    I have bought many items from this series, though they are expensive, because they are very detailed replicas of cars not usually seen in 1/24. All are right-hand drive and come with a nice color booklet, though it is written in Japanese. Still nice reference photos though. Both are shelf models with opening doors. Hood and trunk are molded in, so there is no engine detail. They are beautifully painted and highly detailed inside and out. They have blister pack packaging on a black plastic base with the car's name and year. The clear blister pack is the cover, so some may prefer to display these items without the packaging. Of these two, I like the Cervo better because it's a little more unusual and I like the orange paint.

    Great display model.

    Definitely for the serious model collector or the proud owner of the actual vehicle! The model is very well put together and the detail is simply amazing. What would make it complete is the further acquisition of a display case (Tamiya) and have the model installed in it even though it already comes attached to a base.
