    Ace Metal Detector

    Bought this gently used on Ebay. The packaging for shipping was the best I've ever received. Thank you. I assembled the unit, turned it on, calibrated it to earth ground, walked around my yard and my very first discovery was a silver American quarter from 1963. The unit is working flawlessly. Its sensitivity to small treasures like coins is amazing. I'm just a hobby treasure hunter, but this unit exceeds my expectations in the field. Easy to set up, dial in, and use. Its not too heavy on the arm during use. I am 6 foot tall, weighing 225, so weight of the machine is not an issue. I am completely satisfied with the Ace 400 in the field! I would recommend this product to someone interested in novice treasure hunting. I am looking forward to many more hours in the field with it.

    Unsatisfactory metal detector

    Product is a used metal detector. As advertised, the detector should be able to block out undesired metal objects such as aluminum from being read as a precious metal such as silver. It does not tell the difference between the two making for many false reads detected. Coil cover is damaged with scrapes, nicks and scratches. Arm cushion is completely worn down to the plastic making this heavy detector difficult to hold and maneuver.

    The best metal detector I have ever bought

    I'm still getting use to it but overall all the features that are built into this make treasure hunting a breeze I would recommend it to anyone who wants to start out metal detecting this overall is perfect. I already have a friend getting one.

    Garrett Ace 400 Metal Detector

    I do enjoy this metal detector. It seems to be of good quality. I'm new to metal detecting so learning all the "bells and whistles" takes a bit of study but is worth the effort and is fun, fun, fun.
