    IQ XS Is the “Sweet Spot” for Urban Riding

    I have the B & M IQ Senso T on one bike and it is very good at 50 LUX. I wanted a bit more brightness to the beam but not as much as the IQ-X at 100 LUX. The IQ-XS at 70 LUX is just right. Has great beam shape & coverage close to the front wheel as well as distance, and I don’t feel like it’s too bright for the city & suburbs. The width of the beam is nice also - wide enough to see several feet on each side of a dark trail, yet not lighting up things that I don’t need to see in order to feel safe. The IQ-XS is new for 2018 & not in the US yet, so had to order this one from Germany. I also didn’t see any reviews of it. The light appears well made, sturdy yet light. The site: en.bumm.de has good information about all their lights with photos of actual beam patterns.
