    I Love Pyrex

    I always trusted pyrex for a good dependable quality product. This is a wonderful set of (3) measuring cups with easy to see & read measurments. 1-cup, 2-cup,and 4-cups (see-through cups). Has easy to hold handles. Are microwave and dishwasher safe. Never holds odors or stains. Makes measuring, mixing, & pouring easier. Can't imagine baking without them. These are great!! Barb.

    Vintage Pyrex

    I bought these Pyrex measuring cups because they are vintage. As it turns out, Pyrex recently changed their glass formula from a borosilicate recipe to a soda-lime recipe; as a result, the new glass shatters MUCH more easily with thermal shock. I decided to buy these because they are older cups (my mother has had hers for decades and no problem with them breaking) and made of the borosilicate glass. The only reason that I am giving this 3 stars instead of 5 is that while the cups are exactly what I wanted, the large 4-cup cup wasn't packaged correctly and shattered dramatically in the mail. I had to dig through a box full of glass to retrieve the other ones while trying to keep my cats from playing in the glass that got everywhere when I opened the box.

    Not cheap, but good

    Classic, durable ... but a good value? They're a luxury. Cheaper ones would probably be fine. But if you're looking for a gift or a (not that expensive) upgrade to your kitchen tools, these are good. A note: I bought them to replace an old set that were no longer readable. What wore off the red markings? I don't know. How long did the old markings last? I don't know that, either. Will the new ones do better? Here's hoping ...

    These glass pyrex measuring cups are DA BOMB !!

    In my humble opinion you cannot get better quality and value for the money. These glass measuring cups are wonderful. They have several different measurements on the sides so you cannot go wrong. They are easy to clean the the measuring lines and measures are easy to see and follow. A good cook should not be without a set like this. The value was awesome. They nest perfectly within each other. The only negative I guess would be that as they are real glass, if you aren't careful they can break. Thank you !!

    It's a set of measuring cups

    Good stuff. Not as good as the old genny Pyrex, but adequate for most needs. The red lines wear off after a couple of years, and when you drop them it's time to find a new set. I've got an original 2C Pyrex cup that I inherited from my mother, it's at least 40 years old and maybe 60? And you can still read the writing on it like it is new.
