    Simple to use and clean

    Simple to use and clean up. The plate area doesn't heat evenly, and the first time I used it the lacquer on the base gave out a little smoke when the paint was curing for the first time. The second time there was no smoke anymore. Maybe because it suppose to be only 800 watts it took it 10 minutes to boil water in a teapot, but it did its job, just slower than other more powerful electric burners (and that use more electricity). I use it in a small camper with a power inverter and batteries and its just ideal (no need for propane). For occasional and simple cooking it works perfect, but for bigger things it might be too slow.

    energy saving

    I've been using this instead of the stove to save energy. It heats well for making expresso, soup, eggs, etc. In my opinion, the flat ceramic type top is better than a hot plate with coils. If you are looking for a hot plate, this is the one to get.

    Defiantly does the job

    This food warmer is small enough to keep on my counter. The different temperatures are a feature that can't be beat. It defiantly does the job, any job you need it for. From warming our coffee carafe to heating a pot of soup in record time. The only issue I have had was when I used a dish rag with just water on it, the dark coating peeled in a small section. Was a little disappointed but I am being very careful not to make it worse. Dab don't wipe to clean. Other than that I don't know how we did without it. Love it!

    Great Hot plate!

    I love the single burner hot plate. I use it daily to do all my cooking. This is my second one, I put my first one in my RV and purchased a second one for my Apartment. They hold up your daily use very well.

    Great Product!

    I work in construction and want hot meals in the winter. I don't use microwaves, and have been using my employers hot plates for years that most frequently burnt my lunch.
