    No problem here...

    Sram Powerglide is a great product, combined mine with the 38T. No chain chatter/jumping, just clean, swift shifting. Easy to install. Always remember to use the proper torque, when attaching to the crank arm. If you don't that's your fought not the " product ". Buy... install... be happy! Enjoy the ride!

    mid-compact, back to the 52

    This ring itself is typical top quality Sram; that said, years ago we all had 52/40 cranksets. The 50's are great for hilly and rolling terrain, but here in Florida, our hills are overpasses. The 52 ring adds a little bit of an edge as most riders my age are never on our 11/12 cog. Staying on the 19-14, we don't have the legs to push a 50/11(let alone a 53/11).The 52/36 gives me just that little edge on our rides with guys that hold about a 20 mph pace. Good configuration worth trying; bells ring, birds sing.............
