The seller went above and beyond, actually called me once I reached out to report the damage and advised me to take up an insurance claim with USPS. This was the best possible outcome. I got a running locomotive at a great price and the seller (non-profit museum) didn’t have to eat a return. Hooray for good old fashioned person to person communication! Will happily do business with this seller again, and glad to support their project.

Shipped fast, packed well, I think they're new but really old stock (NROS, we need more acronyms). Seem to all function fine, may need some bearing lube, need to research what is recommended, may just need the contacts cleaned. Great communication with the seller. Great price.
