      An absolute no brainer must have purchase this Christmas

      The 42078 is everything one expects of a flagship Technics kit. It is fun to build, complicated but not frustrating, and the end result is really worth the effort. Also, a Mack truck, unlike a mining digger or that weird Volvo robot loading thing that doesn't really exist(!) is an undeniably earthy and tangible vehicle that everyone can relate to. Lastly, with 10% off this comes delivered to Oz at roughly the same price as a knock-off Lepin: so, the proposition is an absolute no brainer. Boo hiss to ScoMo though, for the ridiculous new GST rules on foreign purchases (although, in this case, it has worked).

      Wonderful fun

      I enjoyed building it, It was a bit of a challenge. I've enjoyed steering it around and reversing the trailer into position. Unloading and loading the container is fun as well. I'm trying to build power functions into it (plenty of room for functions). By the way, I'm 61.
