      MATCO 3/8 drive black chrome locking flex head ratchet review

      The black chrome maybe isn't as shiny as I had anticipated. It's a bit more of a semi-gloss or almost matter. of course the pieces all work properly and it's a good quality ratchet. I'm not sure it's particularly better than other which may be more price competitive. The extra cost for the "black" was a luxury, but I'm not sure why it cost more to coat with anodization over chrome. I think that's just marketing. If you've used a MATCO ratchet, the ratchet head works as expected with quality engagement. the handle is a MATCO handle and happens to fit my hand. For me the locking level is a bit stiff on this particular ratchet, but as levers go works fine and I'm confident will loosen. For me the MAC tools push button is maybe slightly more preferred, but we're getting really ...
