    Mentadent ToothPaste

    I have been using Mendadent toothpaste for at least 14 years and have been very satisfied with it. However, for some reason (I assume low sales volumes) Arm&Hammer stopped selling Mentadent in retail outlets like super markets, drug stores,, big box stores etc. Thus the only way to buy Mentadent is online at completely exorbitant prices. Retail it used to cost less than $10 for a box of 2 refills. I just paid $54 for 4 refills which was the best price I could find without having to mortgage my house to buy enough to last me for 20 years. Not happy about the price, but at least I can find the product.

    Yes, Money Can Buy Taste

    It's been my fave toothpaste for ages and when it was suddenly no longer available in the States, I was bummed. But from time to time, I find it here on e-Bay at obscene prices but there are ones that will nudge me to treat myself. The whitener has always been great and the minty flavor doesn't overwhelm--just pleasant. And it dispenses so easily---no cap to remove and tube to roll up.

    Great toothpaste, why is it discontinued

    Great container, pump, easy on arthritic hands. Cant buy in stores any longer, WHY? Also this shipment had a tag on it saying it would no longer be available. Don't understand why.

    This toothpaste was discontinued in the stores and for the life of me it is really excellent tooth paste because I have no cavities for years when I go in for my check ups. The only problem is that is real expensive now! The cheapest goes for $69.00 for 2 refill containers. : 8 (
