      Great EDC knife

      I work in slacks most days and this is the perfect knife for every day carry at work. This is one of my favorite knifes in my collection. I buy knifes so I can carry them and use them. I think the steel on this blade is excellent and really holds an edge under light utility uses. It's by far one of the lightest blades I own and feels good in my larger hands. My only complaint is the pivot action isn't as smooth and fast as some of my other flippers (Spyderco Domino for example is slick and fast after break-in).

      Borderline Positron

      Nice knife - carries well (no lanyard provision, though - it could use one). Very light weight. My biggest complaint is that Spyderco simply made it as inexpensively as possible. The detent slightly restricts the blade, making closing less than easy. It required 2 hands to close it, almost forcing it over the detent. Closing is not a deal- breaker but it could have been avoided. I like the knife, and would give it an #8 on my scale BUT it isn't Spyderco's greatest hit. It is a very, functional, good looking knife and I will carry it a lot,not all the time. In my collection I put it about mid way in preference. It wasn't a "must have" but definitely a "should have". Good luck
