    Good product, not for layers

    I wasn't even looking for the bun thing, just the Topsy Tail. However, I have long layers and I've found that I'm getting more use out of the Bun Maker, as I have too many layers for most of the Topsy Tail styles to look decent and not come undone. I can see what's trying to happen, so I'm SURE that it would work great for hair that is all or mostly all the same length. Recommend for non-layered hair. Do not recommend for long layers.

    Topsey tail

    Very flimsey and poorly made. I do not recommend for thick hair. Loop broke first time I tried to use it. Guess you get what you pay for. Do yourself a big favor and spend a little more money for the name brand...Conair Topsey Tail.
