    If programming a 1998 Sienna disregard all instructions telling you to put key in and out and open and close door and such, these models have a security module in the lower center of dash console beneath radio behind storage compartment. Jump pins 8 and 9 (9 there is no wire) it puts it into programming mode, push button on new remote and other remotes, take jumper out and you're done. You will hear the door lock when you jump the pins.

    Great key fob! Worked well for my 1998 Toyota Sienna. I had to take apart my radio and plastic covering since you have to access the wireless door lock ECU to connect the key fob. It was taking off some bolts and some other plastic connectors. Grabbed a paper clip and shoved it into connector 1 and 9 while the ECU plug and the door locks will engage. This is when you would press any button on the key fob and that’s it! The 1998 siennas do not do the door/lock programming sequence. :) Good luck!

    ALL THE FEATURES OF AN OEM FOR OVER $200 LESS

    Great aftermarket key fob for my 98 Camry XLE. Cost me over $160 less than a Toyota remote. I went to my local automotive locksmith to have it programmed and it was so simple they didn't change me for programming. (The store's advertised price was $95).
