A Scout Scope that satisfies my requirements
Small, light, fixed power Scout Scopes are not at all common, but this one fills the bill for me. It was purchased to replace an earlier model 2.75x20 Scout Scope from the same manufacturer that has too fine a reticle for my taste and my vision. The reticle in this newly acquired one is just right, and the scope weighs an ounce less than the older model it is replacing, another plus. Both the older scope and this one have excellent, crisp, clear optics, by the way. Combined weight of the new scope and the QD rings I've chosen is a mere 10 ounces.Small, light, fixed power Scout Scopes are not at all common, but this one fills the bill for me. This is a 5 star product because it just works. The glass is nice and clear and it has the best reticle I've found in years. I have been a hard core FFII ballistic plex user, having used them on my hunting rifles for more than 20 years now. The AR556 and AR762 use a reticle that is somewhat like the tried and true ballistic plex, but they add more to it, to make it even better. The wind plex C4 is simply my favorite. This is saying a lot because I even use Nightforce rifle scopes. The burris AR line of rifle scopes really have no competition at their price point. I tell my buddies that this scope is the happy medium I've been looking for in a rifle scope. Ring top is awesome
I bought two of these so I could put a Burris fast fire red dot on the top of my two favorite scoped rifles. It is very strong, and good quality for a scope ring top. I have used them for about a year and don't have any complaints. Red dots and scope never lost zero. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a way to mount a red dot on top of their scope.
