    Wilson 1911 spring review

    Coming from Wilson Combat, I would have hoped that this product would have already been polished... was not. It did instantly solve my problem as I would have with any NEW 1911 mainspring. However, I had to polish all contact points AND bevel where it rides up on the sear or it would catch and stick. Not a biggy but worthy of a comment. Still, I gave it 4 stars as a good product. Just for 1 minute of polishing I would have given it 5 full stars as I could have gotten essentially the same spring for 50% less had it not been Wilson. I MUST also add that with the Wilson, I trust the heat treat and steel. With the others.... maybe after time testing.

    Great Product!

    Dropped right in my 1911 9mm Springfield Range Officer with no tweaking and end up with a 3.1lb average, SO spec said it was a 5-6lb pull You wont be disappointed!
