    wilson extended mag well

    Was easy to install,fits perfect on my new colt competition,the buling matches great.I have already used it in competition an d it reduced my reload time .At my age which is 73yrs I look fot small things in order to give a slight edge because I compete against these young guns every week,sometimes I beat them.

    wilson combat mag well

    it's a great design and good quality, and easy to install. but you have to trim your grip to fit and also the magazine don't fit properly or don't sit flush only couple mag will work. overall it's ok and it does work for speed reload...

    Easy to install magwell with the quality of Wilson Combat

    If you would like to augment your 1911 pistol with a magwell and its benefits, this is an excellent choice. It is of small size, so that though it functions extremely well, it does not extend the extend the length of the grip by more than about 3/8s of an inch. Its width is no more that the grip itself. And the ability to attach is so easy that no smithing knowledge or tools are needed; although if your grips themselves are not pre-inlet, you may need to spent a pleasant hour watching a movie while using a knife the inlet the grips yourself by gentle carving. This is an especially functional part to add to a 1911. Thanks to Wilson Combat for making available such a quality piece of gear that can be installed so easily.

    Item was as advertised, fit perfect, easy to install. Had to do minor work to the grips. You will probably want to purchase an extended magazine as well. Not required but more convenient.

    Mounted on a Rock Island Compact Tactical 45acp 1911 pistol

    Easy installation. Fit without any problems or modification to my gun. Allows me to use 8rd mag without extending unprotected at the mag opening. The new mag well will not accept the factory 7rd mag without modification to the plastic portion of the mag. Easy solution is to buy standard 1911 8rd mags. They work great.
