    excellent entertainment for kids of all ages

    These items are perfect for kids to use their skills at building different forts to play in and play with. They are very durable and easy to mix several of them together so that they can build even bigger forts than the instructions show available. Each box is easy to store and if you have multiple boxes they can be stacked together just like pizza boxes are stacked up.

    Need a hammer to put it together.

    The plastic rods don't fit in the holes of the ball. My 5 yr old couldn't do it at all, and Daddy has to bank, twist, shove, etc. to "kinda" get them to fit in the holes. Not an easy toy for a child, as the holes were not made to fit the tubing. Had blisters on my hands afterwards.

    My 3 yo son loves this

    We create new little worlds and mansions that are fun and makes it so it's not just the same thing, but different and intriguing. Because of it can be built to 3 to 4 poles high, we have even used it as a part of celebrating the feast of Tabernacles. We can't wait for our 1 yo daughter to discover this too. Buy 2 or more, it's worth it!

    Unusable for kids under 12 years old

    None of my kids, not even my 9 year old, could press the sticks into the pre-drilled holes. On occasion my wife and I had to press with all of our force to get the stick to enter the pre-drilled hole. I even considered getting my drill bits out and re-boring the holes myself. My other complaint is that they don't give you enough pieces to make a fort of any significant size. Do yourself a favor and buy a cheap tent - that will be a much better fort than anything you could build with even 2 or 3 sets of this stuff.
