I was looking for a replacement, the sony woofers were not marked with an impedance rating, the overall speakers were rated at 6 ohms, so a 4 ohm woofer would probably work. The woofers received were perfect, magnet about 20% larger than Sony. The photo below shows it installed- pretty easy to replace.
