I wasn't expecting that because the frames pictured on the web site do not have them. Probably an earlier version. For those who don't get the point, Walter White was living paycheck to paycheck working as a high school chemistry teacher. He was entitled to prescription safety glasses at the schools expense. Being on a tight budget he removed the shields to use the glasses for personal use.
