    better to buy a better well known brand then A no name like green go whos batteries are not what they claim,these are great batteries

    so far they work great,have only recharged them three times~! but no problem yet,not like the cheap ones that are sold on some ebay sites

    I prefer to recharge, but don't expect long life

    We have used these batteries a few times and recharged them equally as many times. These are not true D batteries. From the weight (very light) you can tell they are a AA or AAA inside the larger body. Unfortunately that means they don't hold the life of a larger cell battery. Expect them to last 1/2 as long as a non-rechargeable battery. Until they improve the quality I'll complain but still use them as we still save a lot of money and help reduce battery disposal and production.

    WELL worth the investment!!

    I purchased this 6-pack for use in 2 items: my USGI angled flashlight and Coleman camping lantern. Installed them right out of the package and worked just fine. They are lighter in weight compared to the "regular" non-rechargeable batteries I replaced. Have a flashlight or lantern (or other)? Get these!!

    rechargeble batteries

    trying to eliminate as much alkaline batts as possible. batteries create a very nasty waste stream. i am currently using these in some exterior security lights and my led camping lantern. they seem to be holding up pretty well. the problem i have had with rechargebles is that the voltage( DC ELECTRICAL PRESSURE) DOESNT DRIVE SOME DEVICES VERY WELL. time will tell, but for now these seem to have fair longevity and i am trying to do more to divert hazardous waste from the landfill. they are being used in our security lights which go on/off thru the night. beam of light remains very good after weeks of use.

    A great way to save money

    This is a smart choice as it allows you to acquire a repeatable use battery in lieu of constantly buying single use types. It will pay for itself in under 4 or 5 reuses. Shop around e-bay till you find a deal under $3.00 apiece and grab it. Stick with name brand products. Off brand items tend to be dicey as to their life span and strength.
