        Nice little tool

        Works as intended to hold an awl point. Used to open holes a little before hand stitching. I use a diamond point punch to make the holes first, this tool is for making it easier to get the thread through the punched hole as it tends to close up a little. I would not use it to make the hole, just to enlarge while stitching. Nice looking little tool, definitely needed when hand stitching.

        It's an ok tool . Hard to keep sharp as it's soft . It's never gonna surpass Vargas Blanchard but for its price point it's ok for rough work.

        Flat Side Awl Haft
