    The item was as described, shipping was good, they packaged it well but the post office was NOT CAREFUL with the item which led to the lid of the item to break which is not the sellers fault at all. It was packaged very well but sadly even with the packaging it still broke. But as I said not the sellers fault at all! I told them it arrived broken and they apologized and I sent it back and got my refund for it. They were very kind and easy to talk to about my questions and about the return!

    Garmin 5" gps

    Garmin 50-great gps,this will be my 3rd one. Only reason I bought another is each kid keeps using mine and then I don't have one! Easy features like restaurants, shopping, gas, event centers, home, favorites etc. down side is Garmin web site. There is no 'easy link' to update maps unless you want to pay for an upgrade. Downloads also take 1-2 hrs but once you finally get a link to work they do work. No upgrades are possible if the battery is low/dead. Must be charged for the software to find the device and register it. I know people say to use your smartphone but what do you do when you don't get a cell signal? I go to many places where cells don't work.

    Excellent Navigation system!

    I bought this unit to keep as a spare backup Navigation unit to my Phone. At times your phone can loos signal and render your navigation maps useless because they go offline. The satellite are always above the earth and unit always works. Its easy to use and has a good screen!
