It is a military conflict on a global scale and at different levels. It has many dimensions like Economic, Social, Religious, Geopolitical and Ideological. The three trends shaping WW3 are: 1) The rise of Jihad in the middle-east & beyond; 2) China's military expansion & modernization; 3) The economic de-leveraging of the western world. The above 3 trends could be approximately mapped on a timeline in phases as follows: 1) 2014-2018 (Incremental or rising violence phase) 2) 2018-2019 (Peak violence phase) 3) 2019-2025 (Decremental or rehabilitation phase) The above 3 phases are characterized by the combined strength of the 3 trends noted earlier above.
