I used it only about 7-8 times to remove typical pool debris- leaves, bugs, small toads, etc. I flung some debris, not very heavy, into our woods and the pole snapped. If you empty the net, you can only turn it upside down, any flex will break it as shown in pic

There are too many unsupported handle sections to bear the weight of even a few wet leaves. The plastic screw-in connectors of the handle sections are too thin and lightweight, flexing nearly to the breaking point when the net has only water draining out, let alone leaves or other debris. One connector began to separate on first use. Very disappointed.
