I learned that the seller cancelled because the price had changed, according to them, and I wasn't made aware of the $10 increase until they informed me with their reply that the cost had gone up. The price on the item was $18.99. They told me that the price should have been $28.99. Had they notified me, I would have gladly purchased it for the difference.
