    For true film fans!!

    The movie is enjoyable. But the set is worth owning. The picture is outstanding, the audio is terrific, and its supplemental package is so exhaustive and worth watching. The Appendices discs are worth the cost of admission alone.

    Disappointed

    Haven't viewed the DVD yet.....However; the device that holds the DVD's(three) in place in the containing package was busted up all to hell!....and the shrink wrap on the outside looked suspicious....as if the original package had been opened, then re-wrapped. The package itself did not look like it was damaged in shipping, so how did things get broken up on the inside? :(

    An Unexpected Joy

    I really enjoy Tolkien's Middle Earth and this movie really takes me to that world. Many argue that the content is geared more towards children but, as it is, I am pleased. Great special effects and character development.
