    Great lens on APS-C and beyond.

    Very sharp in the centre, this falls away not to badly as you head towards the corners. By happy accident, this lens can be used on full frame, you just have to be mindful that the corners get really blurry. But if you use this like a portrait lens, wide open at f/1.4, it works really nicely, Leica-like sharpness on the subject and fuzzy backgrounds. Other wise it's a great 45mm equivalent lens on crop sensor cameras. It feels really tough, I think there's a lot of metal in it.
