Seller needed to use USPS priority mail card board container: 5-3/8 x 8 5/8 x 1 3/4 OR carefully pull out most of the pin and not lose or damage the gasket; REPEAT: NOT lose or damage the gasket to separate the parts so they will then lie flat for shipping.
