The memory foam is cushy underfoot without being a tripping hazard. The rugs fit easily in my humbly sized stacked washer/dryer and seem reasonably durable just a few weeks into use. There are about 2 stitches per inch (yikes!) on the binding, but the thread appears to be nylon, so they're super sturdy. If they only last six months, so be it. They're bathroom rugs, not heirlooms.
