Product Information
As a Russian-made camera, the KMZ Rangefinder camera body is made for a 35 mm film camera body. The 1970 Soviet Era KMZ Zorki 4K camera has a fixed take-up spool that allows turn-by-turn advancing of the unexposed film. Instead of a knurled knob, the KMZ Rangefinder camera body has a film advance lever. Shutter speeds on the 35 mm film camera body have to be manually set up after winding. The KMZ Zorki 4K has a completely removable back, making it easier to gain access to the film. A M39 screw mount Jupiter-8 50 mm f/2 is the standard lens for the KMZ Rangefinder camera body, although an Industar-50 50 mm f/3.5 also works. A cloth horizontal focal plane shutter has a speed of 1-1/1000 +B. The camera had a 0.25-inch tripod mount. The KMZ logo on the back is located to the left so the advance lever does not cover it and to make room for the rubber lever stop.
