      A Grand step up!

      This has excellent controls and sound. As a bonus (which I did not expect) the screen rotates. This helps to fit on my desk at work - a 12 hour grave yard shift... boss approved. Previously I watched stuff on my cell - small with lousy sound. In addition the internal battery gives some 2+ hours of play. No need to plug into the wall. The price was excellent. I'm keeping my eye on this seller!

      Get what you pay for.

      Hard to answer some of these questions yes or no. Certain items I would change but some I would not. I bought this to give the grand daughter something to do on trips. At first it worked fine. Then it went to Spanish and we changed it back to English but it would automatically return back to Spanish. Then it had a hard time reading discs now it won't even turn on. But it was cheap enough to buy one every year.

      Glad I bought this Insignia

      Bought this DVD player for my 93 yr old mother to watch movies while in the hospital. The size is perfect and the quality is top notch. I bought an open box unit and it looked brand new and performs perfectly. Insignia is a Best Buy store brand but performs as well as any name brand player. You will not regret your purchase.

      Son Loves It

      I have only had this DVD player for about a month but so far so good. It is in the back seat affixed to the headrest and it plays non stop when we are in the car going anywhere. My son has no problem using it so it is definitely easy to use. The only thing that I didn't notice when I was buying this (my fault) is that it doesn't come with a car charger so keep that in mind if you consider buying one. However, I am going to see if I can find one. I don't want the player to die while my son is in the middle of a great movie. Hope it continues to run. Refurbished items can be great or they can be horrid and I usually shy away from buying things that aren't new. Hopefully, this will continue to work.
