    Finder is in great condition, but no thanks to the packaging. The finder was loose in the Nikon box with no cover on the prism and no cushioning, and the beat-up Nikon box was put in an outer box with one small air cushion that did nothing. Whoever packed the finder needs to be taken aside and shown how to pack camera equipment. It's amazing there was no damage. Finder is in good condition, the price was good, and shipping was quick.

    Practically goof proof!

    Had this camera for nearly a month. Have no complaints what so ever. As this review is titled "Practically goof proof!" I have to say it truly is. The quality of picture this camera takes is amazing. I had been holding off for nearly 1yr. unable to decide should I buy it or what. So glad I finally did. The pictures look so professional and it is very easy to use. Although I have not gone into manual mode and personal settings to customize the aperture, shutter priority, and manual exposure settings yet; the portrait, landscape, action, and macro presets are great for someone who wants to just use it as a point and shoot camera. I used it to take pictures at a wedding and I got some excellent pictures. The only CON I would have to say so far is the touch screen is very sensitive ...

    Great Camera, terrible accessories

    Do NOT bother with this set up. You will be replacing most if not all of the accessories as soon as possible. Find just the body of the camera somewhere else, otherwise you will be fighting with a terrible tripod, you'll be worried about your camera in the cheap bag, and you won't be able to fir much of anything on that tiny SD card. I could have saved myself 100+ bucks by looking for just the body and I could have put that money towards the replacements I have already gone out and bought.

    Just what I wanted

    I was looking for a few features for night photos in a camera that was reasonably priced. The T5i is just such a camera, great for someone learning. It has a good set of features. Would have liked to know a bit about the history of the camera, how heavily it had been used for example. But initially I am happy with my purchase. Photo is with a 75-300 mm zoom.

    Not Quite As Advertised

    The camera is easy enough to use, but the problem is that the additional "lenses" aren't standalone lenses, but lens accessories and, worse yet, there are no adaptors to affix them to the lens provided.

    Great camera, unnecessary accessories.

    I'm absolutely happy with my camera purchase! But, the only thing is the quality of the accessories. The extra lenses are plastic and many of the connections are as well. That is slightly concerning because I am afraid that I will strip the inner lining of my 18-55mm lens. Also, there are many smaller accessories that I have set aside because they are not needed. But, all in all I am very pleased with my camera!
