Icom M25 VHF marine radios will float if they have the misfortune of going overboard and into the water. They even flash to let you know when they're floating or wet, but they're not underpowered HTs. These radios can actually put out five watts of power. Each radio comes painted in an official marine blue color scheme. You can also use them to receive NOAA weather radio broadcasts. They'll let you know when there's an alert for your area.
