Since it was described as new I contacted the seller to see if I could get a discount but they said I should return it to Ebay. Not worth the hassle to return it because the car was undamaged.     Not proper size ?

    Even though item is labeled as "HO", the item must be for "N" scale. They are too small for HO track. Might check them out to be sure.

    Fit and work

    Slide on code 75 track and the nub in the center is below track level, unlike a few others I have seen.

    Necisity for DCC

    The insulating rail joiners are necessity for DCC. They make isolating section a snap in order to isolate shorts in the wiring with out shutting down the whole layout
