    Works, but be careful..

    The system is nice quality & it does what it is supposed to...you can feel the temperature difference in the water pumping into the pool on a sunny day. BE WARNED: There is 1 major drawback...pumping through these panels dramatically reduces your flow rate through the pump/filter system. This caused a lot of problems with our pool's cleanliness because the system was not cycling water as fast as usual.

    Good product

    Good product, works as desired. In my case I am using it on larger pool as an auxiliary heater to electric heat pump. On hot days solar panels alone do the job perfectly so no need to burn electricity. One issue to look for is to secure it tightly to some sort of structure if you are in high wind area. I use wooden structure made out of 2 x 4 and secure panels with screws at both ends.

    SunHeater panels are more freeze resistant than FAFCO panels but have less BTU's per sq. ft.

    The SunHeater panels are easier to install than the FAFCO panels that I had before because you don't need a long return line/pipe from the other end of the panel since the water is circulated up and back in the panel itself. Also, the water channels inside the SunHeater panels are larger and more resistant to any freezing of water which can happen if you don't completely blow out the panel during winter. The FAFCO panels have very small water channels and I have had them leak even though I thought they were completely emptied for winter. I think this is due to possibly sand or build up of residues in the panel and since the channels are so small in the FAFCO panels, then it's very hard to eliminate all water therefore it freezes, expands, blows out the channel, and leaks.     Keeps pool comfortable...

    Works as expected. Keeps pool comfortable without running natural gas heater. It definitely adds a few degrees per day (but of course you lose a few degrees on cool nights). We are satisfied. Mid-June Philadelphia area keeping pool at 80-82 F with air temperatures ranging from 60-80 F. Pool is 20,000 gallons with 4 x S240U. Panels are laying on ground next to pool in direct sun, no shadows 10 am to 6 pm. 1 1/2 hp pump. 2" piping to and from array. Removed orifices and have all panels in parallel.
