      The Mesmerizer is a entertaining project. The Mesmerizer scrolls through dozens of entertaining graphic displays. With the included remote control you can adjust the colors of the displays, and scroll through them also. The top line of the display can optionally act as a horizontal VU meter, driven by the built-in microphone, or external audio source. And if interested in learning or modifying, the source code is on GitHub.

      It works after replacing the two electrolytic capacitors broken completely or partially off the display PCB. I didn't try it before replacing them.
