This is a true antique from the mid 1800's that has now been converted from oil to electric. Acquired from an expert 45-year antique lighting business in Boston whose owners have since retired, they attribute this to Henry Hooper, circa 1860 during the Rococo Revival period of grandeur. Fine castings of grapevines on arms in gilt bronze. Brass body with a deep rubbed-bronze colored finish. Reproduction glass to fit the style of the period. If you prefer a different style of glass shade, send us a message with your preference, as we have many antique shades in our stock. The glass fonts have been drilled to accommodate the wiring and the sockets and wiring are new. No chips or cracks in the glass. The ceiling canopy has a small dent and some rubs in the finish - none of which will be noticed when hung and in use. :) Please see all 24 photos and read full item description for measurements.”
