    Large (and not cheap) wooden peppermill was rather flimsily packaged in a torn cardboard box (perhaps the original packaging); was only partially sheathed in a single piece of tissue paper, so the wood was a bit scuffed (perhaps in transit, because the small metal top came off and was rattling around inside the box during shipping). Because the item was described as just "good," I can let the imperfections go--but it would have been a shame if they were all a function of the poor packaging.
