    One of the best

    The Pentax Spotmatic was one of the best cameras made, along with the Asahi lenses. The sound the the Spotmatic is way different from the K1000 by its quality.

    The best Spotmatic.

    Stop down metering is half the fun of shooting with the old Spotmatics, so forget about the Spotmatic F and its full-aperture metering (it won't work with all of your lenses anyway). Although I prefer the look of the earlier Spotty models, the extra bright viewfinder of the SPII wins out for me.
