In my opinion, it was actually in better condition then described. All pages were intact, no problems with the binding or spine and the hardcover was in good shape.       This set of Oxford's 20 volume dictionary work is a major product and a excellent work; it is too bad that the update work will only remain on CD and not on the printed form.

      Welcome home OED, I've been waiting my whole life for this set to be mine!

      I've always viewed owning the OED as having a ticket to a universe of knowledge waiting patiently at your fingertips. The idea of owning the set seemed a distant dream, but this seller made it possible. It's a beautiful gently used set from a library. Assuming it was discarded. Couldn't be more thrilled and so happy they found a home with me! Now, I just have to find some shelves to accommodate these mini-behemoths!
