They were wrapped so tightly in a plastic sheet that the leather was squished and creased. This could have damaged the leather. USPS provides boxes specifically for shoes FREE. I don't understand why one of these was not used. Especially, since I paid for shipping. My advise is grab a few of these boxes the next time you're in the Post Office.
