      It locks in only 3 positions

      I bought it for use in a car's USB port, but the hub is designed primarily for use with a USB port on a laptop. When plugged into the USB port on a laptop, the hub will lock into one of three positions: the two horizontal positions often known as 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock, and the vertical position at 12 o'clock. It cannot be rotated down below the 3 o'clock-9 o'clock plane, where it would be blocked by a desk if used in a laptop computer. Although it only locks in the three positions, it successfully works as a hub in any position in between. It is made of plastic, but the device and its rotating USB plug feel quite sturdy to me. I had no trouble fitting and operating 4 ordinary USB flash drives in the port simultaneously. As can be seen from the picture, however, bulky or decorative ...

      Not for me.

      After approximately one months use it would not keep a constant contact. the swivel seemed to become loose and I couldn't rely on it to make a constant connection. It seemed like a good idea for my laptop but didn't work out. Other products from Sabrent have been real satisfactory. I have discarded the hub,

      A GREAT USB hub: flexilble, with many uses

      This is a high-quality 4 port USB hub, and is a useful accessory for laptops, tablets, HTPCs, desktop PCs, and any other device that has at least one USB port, but that you would like to add more USB ports to. The four USB ports can be rotated to any position so that they are either up or down, or to either side (left or right.) You can swivel it into a position that doesn't block any other jacks on your device, or that is most easily accessible, or that is the most hidden and out of the way, depending on the device and your own preferences. This device is also small and takes up very little room. I originally bought a couple of these for use with our laptops, but I liked them so much that I ordered some more to use with our other devices (Desktop PRs and HTPCs.)

      Greatly Needed

      With the modern laptops only offering 2, or 3 USB ports, and 2 of them are USB 3 ports, This device gives the user great flexibility, and need, connections for their old USB 2 devices. BlueTooth devices, external HDD's, etc..., Need USB 2 connections. This unit provide the connections for extending life in old devices.
