        A must have

        I’ve always used the plastic vise blocks for barrel exchanges and cleanings. When trying to torque a nut to 30 foot pounds I could watch the vise try to open and see the receiver start to twist. Using the reaction rod, it holds the barrel while you torque or time the barrel nut. No stress on the receiver. For me, this is a tool I wish I had bought some years back. If you change barrels or hand guards, this is a must have.

        A must have tool for building AR’s

        This is one solid chunk of metal. If you build AR style rifles, this is a must have tool. The aluminum rods cost half as much but have too much flex when trying to remove that stubborn barrel but or muzzle device. Pay a little more and get the real thing. You’ll be glad you did.

        Better than receiver blocks

        Even with receiver blocks that you clamp into a vice, to torque a barrel nut still puts allot of stress onto the receiver, this tool takes that away and you can safely torque your barrel nut. Its also good for other barrel work.

        Wish the price point was better so more home builders could use. CNC speed and steel with nit riding is not that expensive to make.
