    Love it!

    I have both a 12 egg and now this 18 egg storage containers from Lock & Lock (I routinely get a half-a-flat of farm fresh eggs delivered to my home). They are wonderful. The lids fit easily. I can see how many eggs I have at any time. If perchance I drop the container, no eggs have ever broken. Wonderful company and products. They are kind of pricey, but excellent, long lasting containers.

    Light weight but durable

    This is a good item it has locking tabs on all sides, which can become a problem later on. I would have preferred a one with a hinge on one side and the locking tabs on the other like a egg carton has for easy assess in and out of the container. The material is great it is heavy duty the way I like it and it will protect the eggs in side.

    Eggs break and leaks

    I bought this for camping and to be used in my cooler due to saying water tight and locking. Unfortinitly just the drive from home to camp half the eggs were broken on the bottom from hitting the case. The other issue was the egg container was half full of water from the surrounding melting ice. I would recommend not getting the Lock and Lock Special egg container if you don't want broken eggs or have the case locked on all 4 sides and still filled with water as well.
