I have a 31 in LT spare on the back and just bolted on where they would be above the tail lights. Any farther out for a larger spare you would block tail lights and need to add lights. Unfortunately I was not able to use this product due to my safari rack that would hit my gas rack when opening my tire swing and not allowing me to open my rear window without removing one gas can. My flaw to many bolt on attachments.
