    Examing false gospel doctrines and proving the true gospel.

    Reveals the true Gospel. Examines the preaching that describes the more you give the more you receive, or the more you give you will be healed, all of which is false doctrine. Both videos, "Christ Alone" and "Christ Crucified", uses scriptures to verify the true Gospel and squelch the false doctrines. Presents the different types of false doctrines in detail. Covers prosperity, healing and feel good messages that has nothing to do with the true Gospel. Looks at the different views of God, some portraying God as evil, uncaring, and so on. Whereby God is a loving God that gives us the true Gospel as pointed out by many of the narrators. This is what makes the videos good, numerous true Gospel narrators using personal experiences to proclaim what has been given to us.

    Great documentaries; excellent information!

    First off... these are documentaries. The first movie, American Gospel: Christ Alone, is amazing. I have watched parts of it twice and still keep hearing new information. It is well produced. The second movie, American Gospel: Christ Crucified, is a little more challenging to follow but presents information that I had not even heard of before and now things make more sense. I also found out that a workbook is available to download to help follow the second documentary. I have also watched this movie twice, and I plan to watch it again with the workbook printed out. Am I happy with my purchase? YES! I purchased another set of DVDs and gave them to my adult child to watch with friends. My adult child recommended these movies to me.

    If these two movies do not make you stop, reflect and pray; you don't have a heartbeat in your chest.

    The videos challenge each individual to think about what they believe, the world believes and different religions believe. I do not agree with all of even some of the opinions expressed in the videos. What I do like is that it challenges each individual to examine themselves personally, instead of what others or the world either tries to impose, sell, or WANTS you to believe. It's your choice to make, it always was. Out of Love, HE, gave YOU the choice. How you "choose" is entirely up to you. It's easy to profess and "say" you believe, but do your actions and life SHOW what you profess?
