    This Jeep XJ TB does work for earlier models than most of these listings say. Worked just fine on my 1992 Jeep XJ 4.0. Like others have said on other listings (on Amazon too), the tps sensor doesn't fit into the bore hole. You have to file/sand down the tps a bit to get it in. That's the only issue. They need to open up that hole a little bit during manufacturing. Good bang for buck.

    Any time you go away from stock, slight mods to major are required. Very minor mod to the t/p sensor so it could be adjusted. Other than that , it seems to be fine. The rig is an 04 TJ 4.0l manual
