    Make your washer like new.

    This is the best deal I've found on a part that I use frequently. All those machines that people complain it doesn't get all the water out, this will usually cure it. They have a weak or inoperative clutch pad in their washer and this kit includes that part and more.

    Good clutch, good value, but ...

    Installed the clutch today in an 8-year old full-sized Whirlpool. The washer is working fine again, so the clutch is good. Time will tell, but it looks to be good workmanship, so should have a normal life. The "but": The brake actuating lever is not correct for my machine. I had to use the old one, which was in decent shape. The new one is 1/4" higher and will not allow the transmission to fully seat for bolting up, due to the lever arm bottoming out in the clutch.

    Do it yourself, make it last, and save

    Great product because I saved my beloved washer for not a lot of money. The new washers take longer, won't let you control the water level, and won't last as long as this one has, 20+ years. With YouTube on my side I'll keep it running forever.

    Excellent

    The product is a direct replacement and a perfect fit. Engages the spin drum quickly. Includes instructions and washer size guide in order to select the correct spring. It's an inexpensive way to repair an older direct drive washer instead of buying a new one.
