They collapsed and folded down into the plastic base of the brush upon the very first use. I thought I was getting such a great deal with 6 sets of brushes for basically the price of one set at any drug store. I should have known better than to purchase something that sounded too good to be true. I would request a refund but I would probably have to pay the return charges and it just wouldn't be worth it. Oh well....live and learn.
